Dr. Qianbing Zhang is an Associate Professor and Director of Research in the Department of Civil Engineering at Monash University. He serves as Co-Editor-in-Chief for the Elsevier Journal on Tunnelling and Underground Space Technology (TUST) and holds the position of Vice President for the International Society for Rock Mechanics and Rock Engineering (ISRM). He has published more than 120 journal papers with a total of 6500 citations. He is a Fellow and Chartered Professional Engineer with Engineers Australia, and a recipient of Australian Research Council ARC-DECRA Fellowship. Additionally, he actively participates as a Committee Member for Standards Australia, ISO Standards and ITAtech.
