Dr. Nikolai Bobylev is an environmental scientist working on urban underground space development and urban infrastructure, environmental assessment, and multiple criteria decision analysis. Dr. Bobylev has published more than 30 research papers on environmental and urban development issues.
Dr. Bobylev has been actively promoting his vision on urban underground space, urbanisation, and the environment at the United Nations family organisations, including invited talks at UNECE in Geneva (2009, 2012, 2013); The World Bank (2009; 2014); UN HABITAT (2006, 2013) and consultancy assignments on urbanization issues.
Dr. Bobylev is a member of ISSMGE; IAIA; ITACUS – ITA, (vice-animateur of ITA working group 15).
Dr. Bobylev is on the editorial boards of International Journal of the Analytic Hierarchy Process (CDF); Tunnelling and Underground Space Technology (Elsevier).
