Tim Babendererde is a partner in Babendererde Engineers GmbH. He is involved in the planning, design, supervision and consultancy for tunnels, underground constructions, compressed air works and construction pits. He is a site specialist and provides support for tunnels in difficulties. He is also a loss adjuster for insurance companies.

Previous to joining Babendererde Engineers, he worked extensively as a project manager and tunnel manager.

He is a member of the ITATECH activity group for ‘sprayable membranes’ as well as ‘monitoring underground’. He has also published many papers and regularly lectures on various topics.
