Tommy Olsen is a highly experienced tunnel design manager and technical advisor. He has more than 30 years of experience within civil works, construction engineering, immersed tunnels, large diameter bored tunnels, cut & cover tunnels, and deep excavations. Tommy combines his broad experience within design, construction, environmental and operation.

Tommy has been involved in remarkable tunnel projects; such as Busan – Geoje immersed tunnel, Hong Kong –

Zhuhai – Macao, Lower Thomas Crossing and Fraser River Tunnel.

As Head of Sustainability in COWI Business Unit Transportation International, Tommy is committed to contributing to the fundamental changes needed in the construction industry towards more sustainable solutions.
